As someone who gets irrationally excited for Christmas, every little festive thing leading up to the day just takes me one step closer to the irrational, childlike state of excitement that I am bound to be experiencing by the close of business on the last day before Christmas.
I am lucky in that when working in the food and drink industry as we do here at the food village, prep for Christmas begins in February and by October we are into the full Christmas swing.
This year I am particularly excited to have been allowed to embrace the festive joy at Padstow Christmas festival and market. Just the thought of a Christmas festival fills my heart with gingerbread and mulled wine.
Personally, I will be embracing the Christmasyness of the Padstow market from both sides of the Norton Barton Artisan Food Village stand. I’m one of the fortunate ones who gets buzzed on the Christmas joy of others so will have just as brilliant a time helping others select their artisanal hampers and edible gifts as I will perusing the stands for gifts of my own for the hard to buy for relatives.
With gifts from rum to salami, crackers to vegan pates, our stand is just the place for those of you who may be at a loose end when coming up with a gift for discerning aunts and uncles, cousins and siblings.
I would be happy to help you find the perfect treat.
Can’t wait to see you there.
