The first in a special series of limited-edition cask aged rums.
Aged for a total of three-years and presented at cask strength (54.3% ABV).
Fermented and distilled in the summer of 2020. The rum was initially aged for two-years in ex-bourbon, followed by a further maturation of one-year in an Oloroso sherry cask.
Tasting Notes (kindly provided by Peter Holland of The Floating Rum Shack)
A complex nose of dark chocolate and plum. Sweet on the palate with strawberry jam and toffee. The jammy notes linger on the finish with a hint of black tea.
Non-chill filtered and no additives.
