Relentless winds build across the tempestuous Atlantic, lashing our distillery on the ragged north Cornish coastline. Our on-siteturbine harnesses that wind everyday. Generating more energy than we need, we export the excess back to the national grid.
We are one of very few British distilleries to scratch ferment our own unique base spirit from molasses. Proofed down to 40% with Cornish spring water it is then steeped in spices for two weeks to create a rum with initial notes of vanilla, orange and caramel followed by warming nutmeg and cinnamon.
