It's almost Friday, it's almost the bank holiday weekend, and we have something extra special for your cocktail hour this week.
We've enlisted the talents of General Manager and bartender extraordinaire Alex Rowland of the St Tudy Inn, who has come up with a seriously tasty salted caramel espresso martini.
It's the classic combination of sweet and salt with a caramel coffee finish. The Kalkar adds an extra depth of flavour to the coffee without too much sweetness.

Ingredients:
35ml Kalkar
1 shot (25ml) of espresso (we use Monmouth espresso)
25ml Salted Caramel Liqueur
12.5ml Vanilla Sugar
Pinch of salt
How to...
1. Place all ingredients into a shaker, making sure the coffee is first which will allow the other liquids to cool it down. This helps the ice not to melt which would cause unwanted dilution of the cocktail!
2. Add ice and give it a vigorous shake.
3. Fine strain into a martini glass or coupe.
4. Garnish with three coffee beans.
Enjoy!
